Sample Orders does not appear in MD04 for the material with MRP type ND

Hi,

The sample orders viz sales orders are not appearing in MD04 for the material having the MRP type - ND (No planning).

Can anyone tell me what could be the reason for that?

Hi

in the customization of the requirement type u define if the requirement will be displayed MD04.

u can see the RqTy at procurement view,

in tansaction = OVZG, check field Req/ transfer, only if checked u will see the requirement.

As you have mentioned that you have maintained MRP type as ND...the data will not be displayed in MD04 screen....

Why do you want to maintain MRP type as ND for which you are expecting sales order especially when you have MTO scenario?? You should have PD so that you can run MRP to create planned for the sales order.
