Sales BOM

Hi,

I have few quaries

1)I will create one sale BOM using CS01.In that there will one parent material and other are the dependant material or material in Parent Material.? Is it correct or wrong?

2)How should i maintain the princing for this BOM.

Should i need to maintain Pricing for the Parent Material only? or

I need to maintain the Princing for all other depedant material?

If I need to maintain the Pricing for dependant material ,then how should i maintain Pricing Procedure for that?(Configration)

3)Is there any need of any other configrations?

It will be very helpful if any one help me in solving this quary

Hi,

u can manage the BOM through the main item's item category. just configure its "explode bom" field in customizing as per ur need that u want to have in ur order, i.e. whether ur main item explode or not and upto which level.

Pricing also u can configure through Item category at customizing, i.e. you want pricing at main item level or it shd be on for sub-items. just marks the pricing relevance as per your need.

pricing procedure does not have any impact of material, as it is assigned to a combination of "sales areadocument pricing procedurecustomer pricing procedure".
