CRM Upgrade

Hi Experts,

I am quite new to upgrades of SAP CRM versions. We are planning for upgrade from crm4.0 to CRM 2007. At another location I am to co-ordinate for CRM 5.0 to CRM2007.

I am not a basis guy and I would like to know what could be my role and what are the steps involved. Can anybody give me the complete process flow. Would be much appreciated with generous points.

Refer to the CRM 2007 Upgrade Master document for both the versions. It will give you step by step from planning to execution of what needs to be done for the upgrade. But it is always better to have some one who is experienced or who has already done an upgrade to be sure of not hitting unexpected road blocks.
