MD04 release reject problem

Sir in tcode MD04 when i am trying to release production order i am getting message "release rejected" .How to overcome this problem ?

Dear,

You must check the maintenance of "Valuation variants for order (Transaction OPK9)", which you can also access via the Customizing path "Production --> Production orders --> Integration --> Define valuation of goods received":it may be that an assignment valuation area - valuation variant is missing."

Or also check the setting of OPJJ and OPJK avilability check if order thas missing part in Business trn-2 for release.

Hi Raghav,

In case of relase Rejected of Production Order find out Reson behind it by follow below path,

Production Order (CO02) --> Go To ---> Logs ---> On Release.

Check it and find the reason.

Some of the possible reason are,

- Missing Parts

- Missing Capacity

- Storage location Extension Problem.

- Batch Determination not completed.

It should not happen. Go to MD04 screen and select your production order and go to change mode. First check the material availability for that production order. If it fails you cannot release the order.

Before that check h ave you maintained valid production version for that FG
