hello friends,
i have seen that in most of the table their is a MANDT field but in some tables for examples SPRAS table that field is not their so why it is like that and what that table called.

if mandt field is there it is called as client dependent table
if mandt is not there it is called as client independent table

Hi,
If you want your table records to be available for all the clients then you dont have to include the MANDT field which means Client-Independent. (For example if you add a record in client 100 you can view it across all clients)
On the other hand, If you want your table records to be client specific then you have to include the MANDT field which means Client-Dependent. (For Example if you add a record in client 100 you cannot view it in coient 200)

If you place your cursor on MANDT and hit F1 then the world will become a better place.
You can use F1 (and F4) in many many places in SAP to find information. Please try it.
