payroll doubt

hi all,

In PA-payroll data-basic pay there is a node 'Revise pay scales groups and levels'what is significance of this step ?which wagetype should be entered here? please clarify this doubt.

hi raj,

let me explain y we do the Revise payscale groups and levels,

let me take an example like this: x is ur level in ur company

y is ur mgr level in ur company

x level handles some set of wagetyes(Basic,HRA,children education allowance)

y level handles another set of wagetypes(Basic,HRA,children education allowance and washing allowance)

here some wagetypes are common for the two levels , where as some wagetypes will be in addition depending on levels.

this is the node where we define all the set of wagetypes to allt he groups and levels .

if there is any chage in future in compensatory structure than

u need to use the above nood

compensatotry structure differes from group to group

ex ceo get mobil allowance

but exe wont get na so u give those wage type there according to grps and levels
