Parameters to be changed

Hi Gurus,

I am currently running on 4.7 EE,Windows 32 bit 2003 Enterprise edition,Oracle 9.2.0.5 Enterprise edition and an MSA controller with 256 mb RAM.

I would be upgrading the server to 16 GB RAM and 2 GB of MSA controller speed.

Which all oracle and system parameters do i need to change after the hardware upgrade.

Hi Tushar,

For Oracle parameter settings refer to SAP Note 124361 and 132503.

Since it is a 32 Bit windows system, activate 3GB option as per SAP Note 110172.

Refer to SAP Note 88416 fro Zero Administration Memory Management settings.
