Hi,

I shall be greatful to you for solving my problem.

I am getting an intresting exception when i am working with guided procedures.

I am working on Guided Procedures and assigned the GP Superuser, GP Administrator, Business Expert and User roles to a user along with super admin role so i am able to get

Guided Procedures->run time, design time, personal templates and Administration tabs in portal. I am able create folder and Callable object but when i am trying to create "Action" or "Process" , getting the exception " com.sap.engine.lib.xml.parser.ParserException: XMLParser: Bad attribute list. Expected WhiteSpace, / or >:(:main:, row:1, col:491" and saying contact administrator.

Even when i login as "Administrator" and trying to create action or process , getting the same error. I am totally in the confusion.

Please help me out for solving this problem.

-Ram

Hi Ram,

See if the following SAP Note is of any help:

[SAP Note Number: 954035|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/oss_notes/sdn_oss_bc_gp/~form/handler%7b5f4150503d3030323030363832353030303030303031393732265f4556454e543d444953504c4159265f4e4e554d3d393534303335%7d] (Process, block and CO could not be created in GP)

Hi Ankur,

I appreciate your intrest for solving the complications of NetWeaver.

But while accessing the give links i am getting the following exception.

"403 The requested operation is forbidden for this resource. You do not have the permissions required to access this resource." So I could not access it. I think i need some special previlages.

Hi Rakesh,

You need to have an S-User ID to access SAP Notes. For your convenience, I am pasting the content of SAP Note 954035.

Process, block and CO could not be created in GP

Symptom

After upgrade of SAP-EU component to version 7.0 SP8 in Guided Procedures process, block and callable object could not be created. On design time screen appears error message:

com.sap.engine.lib.xml.parser.ParserException: XMLParser: Bad attribute list. Expected WhiteSpace, / or >:(:main:, row:1, col:491)

During attempt to start process through the Runtime screen you will get an error message:

Cannot load callable object container:

Failed to get Related Model Object for the object

com.sap.caf.eu.gp.ui.actions.decpage.

CDecisionPageInterfaceViewdecisionPageUsage1,relation View

In SP9, the following message could be found:

Failed to get Related Model Object for the object com.sap.caf.eu.gp.ui.co.exec.decision.COExecDecision

Proceed as stated for SP8.

Other terms

This is WebDynpro problem caused by an inconsistency of versions.

Solution

1. Redeploy the SCA SAP-EU (if redeployment does not help undeploy and deploy again) components:

o caf/eu/gp/ui/dt/comp/cons,

o caf/eu/gp/ui/dt/comp and

o caf/eu/gp/ui/actions from software component SAP-EU

or

2. Apply the SP8 patch 1 if you upgrade to SP8. Both components mentioned below will be updated:

o caf/eu/gp/ui/dt/comp/cons

o caf/eu/gp/ui/dt/comp

See if it solves your problem.

Bye

Ankur

Hi Ram,

What is the version of your CAF components?

http://<host>:<port>/sap/monitoring/ComponentInfo

May be you need to update your SAP-EU component.
