Inspection lot not getting generated after PurcGR

Hi,

Inspection lot not generated after doing GR for a purchase order. what could be the reasons?

for the first 2 puchase orders, Inspection lot was created. however, for the 3rd Purchase order of 100qty, i did GR for 50 qty only. after then for new purchase orders, the material status has become unrestricted and directly going to stock.

Inspection type 01 is mainted in material master

QM info record has been maintained.

If the type is activated then check the following.

Trx MIGO, Item Details Data, In the tab Wher, check the "stock type",

For Purchase order display screen In Item Details under Delivery tab check the stock type.

Run the TRX OMJX

Try it with the fresh data.

New PO,New GR lot will surely generate.

Hi Nagaraj,

Try the following.

1. Check the inspection set up in the Material Master record for inspection type 01 whether 'post to inspn stock' is selected. If not, select it.

2. Check in Customizing for 'QM in Procurement' in 'Define QM system' activity, 'certified QM system - skip' is marked(Actual QM system). If this indicator is selected no inspection lot is created even if there is an active inspection type. This is valid if you maintain a target QM system in QM view of Material Master (Purchase data).

3. Check in IMG set up :

Quality Inspection -> Inspection lot creation -> Inspection for goods movement - whether inspection lot origin 01 is specified for movement type 101 and also ensure that QM is active for this movement type.

Please revert after trying these options.

Inspection type 01 is maintained but is it activated? Check tick for active in QM data of Material Master.
