Visual Administration Password

Hi,

How to change the Visual Administration Password? Administrator account is locked.

Please help me to resolve this?

Hi,

You have to activae the SAP* first and then change the password for the the j2ee_admin or administrator user id.

There are lot of posts in the SDN please do a search.

Hi Vamshi,

Starting Configtool.bat., secire Store option Admin / password changeing here will work.

Thread in SDN have mentioned to login in Visual Administrator and then change the password in the following place. server->services-> user management -> administrators. Here login to Administrator

is locked.

Please suggest.

Hi,

That would not do, follow the note mentioned in the other note.

In config tool first activate the sap * and restart the java stack then login into the visual admin using the SAP* then change the password again deactivate the user sap* in the config tool and restart the java stack.

Else you can also do one more procedure first login in to 001 client change the password there and then change the password in the secure storage and restart the java system.
