BEX 3.1 - Allow user to filter but not to drill-down

Hi experts,

I have a special need .

I want users to filter on some caracteristics but not to drill down on those carac.

Is there a way to do that ?

one simple way to achieve is to create an infoprovider with no more than the fields you want the user to have/see,

So if you use a DSO/ODS you can aggregate to the right levels.

Don't know if i understand your question right; please give me a few more detail.
