How to compile all the SAP programs?

Hi,

I notice when i launch a t.code the system tries to compile the program and this is time consuming. How can i compile all the t.code programs at one short so that i dont have to compile one by one?

Ask your basis team to run SGEN, that compiles all the programs at once.

Warning - it should be done during off peak hours as it will be too time consuming

When you run a program for the first time, it gets compiled.

When you modify the User Exit /Enhancement program is complied.

There are thousands of SAP Program , and you may not need all of them , so better if you dont compile.

Hi Raja,

Every Txcode has it own inbuilt sap defined programs. Every program has to read for the concern txcode so that the actions that you performed will work.

If your system is slow contact your system administrator.
