CRM 2007 Installation on Windows Server 2008 with SQL Server 2008

Hi all,

for Development purpose we are installing our SAP system on Windows server 2008 and SQL server2008.

We already installed Solution Manager, ECC, BW, and Portal but cannot find a way to install CRM 2007 on our servers.

In the Business Suite 2005 I found a directory mssql10 but not in CRM 2007 and cannot find notes or guides for installation of CRM 2007 on SQL2008.

Have anyone tips and tricks to do it?

I don't think it will be enough to copy and paste this directory in the CRM 2007 installation media...

Thanks in advance,

Mirko Avesani.

Hi,

I don't think that CRM 2007 is supported on SQL Server 2008. That is why it is not documented. If you really want SQL Server 2008 you are on your own.

My advice would be to install with SQL Server 2005.

Regards,

Olivier
