RFC Connections in ECC

Hi Experts,

I am configuring the ALE settings for connection establishment.

I am using server in my own system.

while configuring the RFC connections , which one I need to select.

R/2 Connections

ABAP Connections

HTTP Connections to External Server

HTTP Connections to ABAP System

Internal Connections

Logical Connections

TCP/IP connections

Connections via ABAP Driver

plz help in this issue.

Select R/3 Connection its better for the future too.

But my question is why configuring for your own system?
