Web dynpro and required SCA's

Hello friends!

I want to create a SC consisting of ejb dc, ear dc and web dynpro dc. My SC has 3 dependencies:

DI BUILD TOOL 7.10

SAP J2EE ENGINE 7.00

SAP JAVA TECH SERVICES 7.00

When I am trying to add a DC to that SC, I can't select Web dynpro, ejb or ear, but can only select a java dc. From which source can i get missing SCA's? And what SCA's do I need?

Hi Andrey,

you have to download from service marketplace these .sca files:

DI BUILD TOOL 7.10

J2EE ENGINE FRAMEWORK 7.10

WEB DYNPRO RUNTIME 7.10

JAVA FRAMEWORK OFFLINE 7.10

J2EE ENGINE FACADE 7.10

J2EE ENGINE FRAMEWORK 7.10

after that copy all of them into the CMS inbox folder.

On the CMS you will see on the import list the .sca files for the above SC's. After that import all these .sca files in the development phase.

Hi,

after correctly import required SCA (listed above), maybe you still find Web Dynpro DC not available.

Select on it, right-click on mouse and click "Add missing SC references"

After that you should be able to create Web Dynpro project

I have copied to the inbox folder. After that I have not seen any changes in my track. After reimport of Development Configuration I cant add a WD DC to my project

Can I just add these dependencies to my DC or I must download these sca's and copy it to .../inbox folder?

Hi Andrey,

As Pascal mentioned, in CMS import your .SCA files (in the inbox) into the development phase.

Do you want to develop on the SAP Netweaver 7.0 or CE 7.1 Plattform?

You can download the .sca files on the SAP Support Portal under:

Downloads --> SAP Support Packages --> Entry By Application Group --> Support Packages and Patches --> SAP Netweaver --> Sap Netweaver --> SAP Netweaver 7.0 --> Entry By Component --> Application Server Java.

On this path you can select the dependent .sca files and download them.

I am using CE 7.1. I have already downloaded WD sca's (7.1 version) from portal and copy them to .../CMS/inbox folder. But the problem is unresolved(. Moreover, I can create only Java DC's or EAR DC's in my studio(
