Hi
I am goint to upgrade our production system to 2007B version.What are the precautions and settings we need to take before the upgrade.Is there any guide available for this?

For 2007B version, you need first upgrade to 2007B patch level 5 and then to the latest version for DB consistency.
For 2007A version, you need first upgrade to 2007A patch level 30 and then to the latest version for DB consistency.

Before performing an upgrade,do run SAP note 1000846 on the live database and also kindly test the upgrade on the test database first.if you face any queries in the test upgrade report it to SAP support.

There is a document called, "PatchReadme.pdf" available in the Root Folder of the 2007B Installation Directory. You can read this file and proceed as per this document.
