Hi,
I'm installing SAP 6.0 in a windows server (32 bit) with the rapid installer and the system generates the following error:
Directory C:\Programs\Java\j2re1.4.2_17\bin is not a valid JDK directory: the java executable is missing.
The system has the following folders in C:\Programs\Java:
j2re1.4.2_17
jre1.6.0_05
Best regards
Hello,
This is one of the check of prerequisite checker, if you had run it, it would have given you the same error. It checks for the correct Java Development Kit..i.e JDK. JDK has to be installed on every host where you want to an SAP instance.
As AC has already said, install the correct JDK .. that should solve.
Regards,
Debasis.
