AS05 massively

Hello everybody,

Does anybody know how to lock massively assets for acquisitions??? With transaction AS05 is possible to do it one by one but we need to lock thousands.

Hi,

You can use OA02 - Mass Change Rule for this. use the field ANLA-AR01 - Generate

Use in the substitution ANLA XSPEB = X Acq. lock

You create a rule and you create a worklist AR01 - Generate with assets

The solution is as simple as change the value of the field XSPEB??? I thought transaction AS05 did something else.

I agree with Paul's solution. You have to run a mass change. AS05 only prevent further acquisitions from being posted to your asset, which means if you forgot to capitalize some cost and you realized it after few months, with this locked asset you can not add that cost to your original acquisition value. You mainly wanna lock your AUC asset # so that once your project is closed and everything is settled from WBS -> AUC -> Final asset... no one can add any cost to the same AUC asset #. Thats the logic behind this tcode.
