CJ34 Transfer Budget - How to Disallow transfer within different projects

Former Member

Hi,

I have observed that the CJ34 Transfer Budget is allowing transfer of budgets among different projects. However, we have the business need of allowing only transfer within the SAME project. Could you advise if there is any configuration or SAP standard user exits to disallow transfer within different projects?

Thanks!

Vivian

Hi,

You can do it's thru' authorizations.

You can restrict it thru' Plant restriction if you are using different plant for Projects If no then you can do it thru Project type of WBS.

For the example:-

Project:-X User:- A Project Type:- C

Project:-Y User:- B Project Type:- D

So in this above example user X will be authorize for Proj. Type C. Maintain authorization object C_PRPS_ART. and for Proj Y Project type will be D in C_PRPS_ART auth. object.

Hi

It is possible to do this

use screen varient. t-code is SHD0

In this tran. u can gread out the field by a default value .

In ur case a particular project number is defaluted and gread out , so user cant change the project name while transfering the budget.

Better would be to control this by authorisation object (roles/authoirsation) rather than an exit.

Hi,

I do not think role/auth will work since we need to use CJ34 for transferring budget within the same project and not totally disallowing use of CJ34, we only need to restrict transferring of budget from one project to another.

Thanks!
