Set WebDynpro theme programmatically

Hello!

Is there a possibility to set the WebDynpro theme programmatically?

I've already learned (Colorful WebDynpro Applications PDF) that you can set a WebDynpro theme as standard theme for

the server or you can set a theme via URL parameter.

What I would like to have is a way to set a WebDynpro theme within the WebDynpro application.

Is there a way to change this programmatically ?

Hi,

Create a property file for the WD applciation and store the URL in that applciation.

Hi,

please do not forget that using this trick will not work when running in the portal. The application URL is not enough in this case.

Dear Jochen,

We have tried it with EP SR1 releases and they are working in it.

Since we are calling the application using the normal URL and inside the applciation we are re-directing it to the same application with a different style sheet... i don't think there is an issue.And it's working..!

Could you eloabrate on the scenario when it might fail ?
