Hi Gurus,
I'm new to the Web-dynpro technology, please help me in creating a simple web-dynpro.
My questions are:
1. can we create web-dynpro in SAP version 4.6c?
2. If yes then how?
Basis reales 7.0 and above required to develop ABAP webdynpro although you can still develop Java webdynpro and connect to 4.6C using RFC but you will need a java stack(e.g. EP) to run it.

I am very interested in this thread as I have been given quite a challenge. We have a ECC6 box which we were developing for go live next year and project has been stopped. The challenge is to continue the business on the existing 4.6C box but try and take advantage of Webdynpro on the ECC6 box as the frontend but dip into the 4.6C for it's data. Looking at this thread there is some alluding to that possibility, but can anyone out there add to this??? Would be very helpful. Many thanks.
Hi Jo Owen
I'm not a Web Dynpro Expert, but my suggestion here would simply be to develop the Webdynpro applications on your ECC6 box and the call the required Function Modules over an RFC connection.
I think this would be possible, eventhough it might bring up some other issues.

Hi Manjesh,
You cannt develop Web Dynpro's in 4.6C version. Web Dynpro's are introduced from ECC6.0 onwords.
Check this document about Web Dynpro for ABAP
