Hi guru

final settlement of order is made &posted to asset a/c which is a wrong asset & it it is because of wrong investment profile maintained in IO master.We have reversed that entry also.There is no amount leying in that asset.But when we are trying to change the investment profile of that particular IO master to settle it to the actual asset it is not allowing to change.NOW HOW TO PROCEED.Please advice.

HI,

once a posting has been done to CWIP through IO settlement investment profile can no longer be changed in IO master.

remedial step wuld be to create a new IO & assign it to proper investment profile.

but the problem is the amount lying in that particular IO has to settle.how to transfer the amount from that IO.OR ANY OTHER ALTERNATE IS THERE.
