Hi all,
Can u please explain about planned delivery cost and unplanned delivery cost.
Thnks & Regards
SAP Beginner
hi,
the cost which you add in the PO, and get paid at the IR is called planned delivery cost...you can see it in the different line item in the PO...
While the unplanned del. cost is the cost which is not decided and filled at the time of creating the PO, so you directly fill this amount in the invoice header, and pay it...this cost get added in the total cost...and so is not displayed in the different line item in thePO history tab ofthe PO...
Normally unplanned cost are always avoided...because there are no reasons stored for this...and may be questioned any time for the same...
Hope it helps..
Regards

Hi
Planned delivery costs are agreed upon with the vendor, a carrier, or a customs office before the purchase order is created. You enter them in the purchase order.
Planned delivery costs can be differentiated as follows:
Origin of Costs
Freight charges
Customs charges
Calculation of Costs
Fixed amount, irrespective of delivered quantity
Quantity-dependent amount
Percentage of value of the goods
Unplanned delivery costs were not agreed on in the purchase order and are not entered until the invoice is received.
You can enter the unplanned delivery costs in the invoice document alongside the costs incurred. You can post unplanned delivery costs as follows:
Distribute them prorated to calculated invoice items
Post them to separate G/L accounts
Thanks & Regards
