Freight Cost - Item Cat determination in VI01 T.code

Hi Gurus,

In transporation module, shipment cost creation, in VI01, item cat will coming automatically Z001, i need to get Z006, its in non modifiable mode, where we can do configaration in TM, if any notes on Transporation module configaration please forward the same to - ramakrishna.pullikanti at the rate gmail dot com.

Shipment document type -> Shipment Cost Type

For each shipment document type: You can assign one Shipment Cost Type only, but if your business needs additional criteria based on shipping type or something, it can be attained by Z funcationality. Develop a Z table and use it in program which determines Shipment Cost type.

Item Category Determination in shipment Cost Document:

Shipment Cost type + Partner function ( From stage of Shipment Document) -> Item Catergory at shipment cost level

To get the Z006, check the partner function of line item for which Z001 is coming.

Go to Shipment cost type to Item Category Config node, Select Define Item Category, Assign this partner function to Z006 Item Catergoy.

Just maintain following combination for Shipment Cost Doc Type

Shiment header + Z006 + Manually + 3200

It will work.

let me inform you, forwarding doc's to personal id's is against the rules of this forum.

No SDNer encourage it.

coming to ur query,

Item cat in shipcost doc will appear based on assignment you did in configuration

Check Tcode:T_56

IMG-Log exe-Transportation - ship costs- ship cost doc - ship cost types and item cat's

here we assign item cat to ship cost types-

rec.indicator + item cat + auto propose + valuation classs + Rteautoproc

I have combination - Shipment header + z001+ automatically 3200 release shipment cost +

Shiment header + Z006 + Manually + 3200 + relase shipment cost + multiple usage check

so in shimpmet type Z001, iam getting Z001 itm cat default and iam not able to chage to Z006, how can i achiveve this..
