NILESH
Dear Nilesh,
For that particular User who's trying to change the BOM ,under his user profiles check for this authorization
object C_STUE_NOH,check whether its Yes or No.It must be No,so that the system issues an error
message if he/she try to change the BOM without a change Number.
check these links

wat can i do
Please suggest...
Thanks & Regards,
Nilesh Ithape
Dear,
Please Check these settings
1.In OS27 - Check box included for BOM validity maintained, EC Management active,History Requirement.
2.In OS25 - BOM usage 1 & BOM status 1 - History Requirement check box is included.
3.Authorization object C_STUE_NOH is with No.
This authorization object allows you to maintain a BOM that has a history requirement without using a change number.
The object is NOHIS for which you need to assign the value to control the error message
Hence create a role (or chnage the existing role) with NOHIS = space and assign it to users so that no one can create/change BOM without change number.

Dear Nilesh,
First Check the below given settings,
1.In OS27 - Check box included for BOM validity maintained,EC Management active,History Requirement.
2.In OS25 - BOM usage 1 & BOM status 1 - History Requirement check box is included.
3.Authorization object C_STUE_NOH is with No.
After making these changes and saving and assigning the same to that user id,logout and login and then
check.
Still if you are able to create or change the BOM without ECN means, you have not set the authorization
profile properly.Because in many cases once after changing the authorization profile first click on generate
and then save the changes.
There's nothing beyond the above settings. Please try and reply.
Check & revert back.

Dear Nilesh,
It seems still due to some roles assigned to that particular user ID where for C_STUE_NOH is Yes,the
system is not throwing an Error message when you try to create or change a BOM without ECN.
You can view all the Roles assigned for an user in T Code SU01 and for individual Role you can view in T
Code PFCG.So suppose if CS01 and CS02 ia been present in more than one Role means ,then in both the
roles you have to make it "No" for C_STUE_NOH.Once after making the changes dont forget to click on
generate button and then save the changes. Then logout and login.
Kindly take the help of your BASIS consultant and get it done.
Please check & revert back.

Dear Nilesh,
Why are you going to SU24?Do you want to set No for this Authorization object C_STUE_NOH?
If means goto T Code PFCG and enter the Role and click on change-> Authorizations->Change
Authorization Data->click on Utilities>Authorization objects on-->click on search button and enter this
object to locate and then do the neceaary modifications and then click on generate and then save.
Please come back still if you need any help.

Hi Nilesh,
Check ur settings in CCO1 whether the change no. created is with release key or without release key and the object type assignments for BOM in the same Tcode.
Also check the os27 settings.
