some questions about DC

while we creating a DC we have to fill the following parameters.

Please explain me wht these parameters means.

1.vendor

2.language

3.domain

4.local development component(a check box).

5.sync used archives(a check box).

6.Type.

please help me

In the wizard, enter the following:

a. Vendor: example.org (if required)

b. Name:

i. (prefix from selection list): appl

ii. (text input): tax/calc

c. Caption: Tax Calculator

d. Domain: Financial Services, if available

e. Type: Java.
