Hi Jun Wei
By having striped filesystem in the same stripe set for a DMS container, data are written across different container in the unit of extents. For example, if a table space has 3 containers (that resides in different disk(s)) that belongs to the same set (stripe set).
1st extent, 4th extent, 7th extent.. -> container 1
2nd extent, 5th extent, 8th extent... -> container 2
3rd extent, 6th extent, 9th extent... -> container 3
When sequential prefetching happens, 3 extents can be fetched in one "scoop" in parallel.
