P&M GL Account make it as Recon a/c

Hi GURUS,

The Plant & Machinary Account i did not made Recon a/c in this gl accounts transcation has been posted now the same GL account make it as a Recon a/c for Plant & Machinary

please advise on this

Hi,

GL Account can be made as recon account only when its balance is ZERO (No transaction data has been posted). In your case,

1. Either reverse the transaction and make balance to ZERO

or

2. Make new GL Account with correct settings and transfer the OLD to NEW Account.

Hi

Goto TCode OBD4 and identify the group in which your GL account falls and dbouble click on it and select document entry and make Reconcil.acct ready for input as optional and save it. Remember this recon account is optional for the entire Account group.
