Hi Friends,
What knowledge of java is require to write UDF's in any sort of client requirement we come across in implementing mapping in xi.Can u suggest me books or topics in java need to cover to master in writing udfs?

Hi
You just need basic knowledge of Java like
1 String function
2 Convertion from integer to String, because whatever u will use inside udf have to convert into String format

Hi Suresh,
You need to have Core Java knowledge for XI. You can refer to Complete Reference book for Java which includes necessary string, arithmetic manipulations and the knowledge of java classes is sufficient for working in XI UDFs.
Thanks!
