Hi Ankit,

Just please install one individual server with same SID as your Production....with same file system structure...after that just restore your present offline backup of your Production system....first of this you have to schedule some scripts in your Production and DR server to process syncronization....thoser are first on your Production you need to configure a script to copy archivelogs to DR file system...it means Production /saparch to DR/saparch....and two more scripts on DR one is for applying those archivelogs to database on DR and second is for deleting those applied logs....this is the better process to build DR server....with this you can easily recover the database without dataloss....it means atleast you can recover till 30 mins before your data crash.

This is the automatic syncronization no need to manual copy of archivelogs and restore......use RCP to copy those archivelogs....

warm regards
