Crystal Reports 2008

I just downloaded a trial version of Crystal Reports. I am hopefully to develop financial reports so I do not have to manipulate the data in excel.

We use Quickbooks Premier 2008 for our accounting package.

I am having trouble connecting to the database.

Does Crystal Reports work with Quickbooks and if it does what steps do I take to connect to the database?

Hi,

For connecting with quickbooks we require QODBC driver.

Hi Pat

Quickbooks Premier 2008 is not a tested platform with CR 2008, so we cannot assure that it will work successfully with Crystal Reports.

However you can try to connect to Quickbooks using ODBC, OLEDB or Native connection.

If you are getting any error while connecting to Quickbooks, please paste the exact error message so that we could help you further.

Please let us know the exact version of Crystal Reports 2008 installed on your machine. You can find this information in Help > About Crystal Reports.
