Puchase order reminders

Hello,

We find that the system is printing reminders for some items that have been already received (GR done). Wonder if anyone has experienced this sort of an issue. Any help/pointers is much appreciated.

Hi,

If you make compleete GR or set Final delivery then the no more remianiders will be triggered.

Hi Greetings

Please check and ensure the following

The values for the field Number of Days for First Reminder/Expediter in the PO Delivery tab is filled with negative values.

A negative number of days means that a reminder is to be issued to the vendor n days prior to a certain date

A positive number of days means that a letter or message urging delivery or submission of a quotation etc. is to be issued n days after the due date.

Thank you all very much for the responses. Unfortunately it did not resolve the issue.

I will try to explain the scenario as below:

Original PO was created in July. Goods Receipt in August. Reminder printed in Oct shows this item.

Delivery tab has Reminder1 = 1, Reminder2=3, Reminder3=5.

Goods Receipt is checked. Deliv. Complete is also checked.

Out of the bunch of PO reminders created in Oct, some have this issue and others are correct. This means that some has to check through the line items everytime reminders are generated.

Can someone please help? Appreciate it.

Hi

Please be informed that even if the delivery completion indicator is set, the reminder out put will be triggered if the field "Number of Days for First Reminder/Expediter" is filed with positive values.

The days provided in the fields will be added to the delivery date and the PO will be due for reminder accordingly even if GR is completed. You need to give negative values for the fields "Number of Days for First Reminder/Expediter".

This may be due to the Delivery Compleated Indicated set in the PO...This would will be set when the GR is done for the PO..and assume that there will be no further deliveries for the same...However the further delievries are possible but not expected...So, when you do next time, system might be showing message...
