Error After Installing BPC

Following are the erors we are facing after installing BPC.

1) While creating a new application set in BPC Admin i am getting a error

the datatabase with ID appshell doesnot exist in the collection

2)While connecting to BPC excel

Initcatalog:cannect connect to the server "abc" .the server is either not started or too busy.
