WBS cannot be deleted if status CRTD REL TECO

Hi All,

I require a solution to make WBS cannot be deleted if the status CRTD, REL, TECO...etc....

The reason is we have another system which link to PS module ...so whatever master data WBS that has been created in PS module...will be used in another system.

For example ..the project structure is

WBSE level 1 ABCD

WBSE level 2 ABCD2.

IF user can delete level 2, so there is no data consistency between SAP system and other system.

IF user can delete level 2...then i need the same WBSelement (ABCD2) ...the system will prompt error message (version RELEASED already exists)...means that i cannot use ABCD2 anymore..

So i need a solution to make WBSE cannot be deleted and if it is successfully deleted...i need a solution where i still can make new WBSE(ABCD2) if it has been deleted before.

Plz advice.

Hi,

Create user status NDEL will not allow to delete the wbse.

Yes, Create a User Status TECO and set business transaction "Delete Element" as forbidden in the User status profile using OK02 Tcode.

Hi there is another way to do this

You can restrict the user from deleting wbs element by giving authorization.
