Do either CR4E or CRXI support hibernate (besides what can be done with passing POJOs)? I'm comparing this tool with Jasper. I don't think so but I want to be certain.
Direct connections to Crystal Reports or Crystal Reports for Eclipse using Hibernate are not supported. You can work around that as you mention by using a POJO or a JavaBean.
