PR Release strategy

Hi Friends,

Kindly help me to set the pre-requisite for my requirement.

For release strategy of first level we have five release codes: F1, M3, F3,M4.F4 with condition as follows:

When PR is created it should go to F1 and when F1 releases it should go to M3,F3 and anyone from M3,F3 releases it should go top M4,F4 and finally if any one from M4,F4 releases it should get completed.

Let me know how we will set the Release pre requisites for this.

Hai,

Yes After release of F1 it will go to all levels, but at least three persons has to release as per this i.e F1 & M3 r F3 & M4 r F4.

Reg. F1 restrictions for his release indiactor i.e blocked or some thing u maintain, u make one separate field selection for this and asssign to release indiactor.this way u can work out.

Hi SK,

Thanks for your Input.

The pre-requisites you have set seem to be all right. It will serve my purpose for all scenarios. There is only one issue, the level 4 F4/M4 can also release the document directly after level F1. If they do automatic release by their release code, the document will not go to level 3.

After F1 it directly goes to F3/M3 & F4/M4. In this condition F4/M4 can directly release with the release of F3/M3.

Can you give your thoughts to resolve this issue .

One more thing I want to ask can I restric the field on line item for F1 level. I want that at F1 level he should change only cost center and not other value in the PR.
