COA Account Segmentation

Please can anyone tell me how to create level 5 in account Segementation?

I already have a COA on normal account upto level 5 and i want to convert it to Account segmentation up to level 5.

If you haven't got any JEs, then you can change COA from normal to segmentation. However, there is no easy conversion utilities. You have to upload the whole COA according to your new segmentation definition.

Hi,

Following is from the documentation :

You can add or remove segments as long as no G/L accounts have been created in the system.

In order to add a new segment select from the menu Data > Add Row.

Admin > Setup > Financials > Account Segmentation is where you will define additional segments.

Go to Data Menu > Add Row

This has to be done before the CoA have been imported.
