hi all,

the message i received in this problem is...

Message no. TK455

Diagnosis

The value "12 " was entered in the field "REICHWEITE".

This is not possible because it is a numeric field where only numbers may be entered.

The length of the field is 000003.

System Response

The entry was not accepted.

Procedure

Enter only numeric values in this field.....

********************************************************************************

let me describe the whole problem again...

i have defined company 2000.. then i tried to copy company data from source company 0001 to 2000...

after all the copy percentage, message and request to save, it gives error as .. "enter numeric values only..."

then i tried the copy from other defined company to company 2000. this got successfully completed.

so i defined plant 2000 and tried to assign it to company code 2000. it gives me the same problem as" Enter numeric values only".

Dear,

Go to Transaction SE16 and delete all entries in the TNIW5 table that have the two-digit contents '12' in the 'Range of coverage' field.

Then you will not get this error.

And

Note 547875 - TK455 when you delete or copy company codes

Refer this also,

[TK455|]

There is no restrictions like numerics and alphabets , you can use any of those. But between those don't use #and *,it may corrupt database...........
