Hi All,

I am having a requirement where i need to create a generic DS which include the field value which is coming from the Function Module.

Now i concern is wheather i can create the Gen DS using View as i am getting the data from the FM is it possile to create a view using this.

Suggesion will b appreciated with **********

Hi Priya,

As far my understanding about ur query is that u have a field thats output of an functuion module and u wanna add it in a view for a generic extractor which uses a function module.

lets take the function module for extractor as FM1 and for generating the field as FM2 and the field as F1 And its siource field as F0

from where do u get the data F0 for the field F1 which u generate using a function module FM2?

if this is from a table.

u can use that table which has F0 in the view for generic extractor, and in the function module FM1 call FM2 and manipulate the value for field F1 and u can send it to the target system through extractor.

You want to put FM output ---> table and build view on this table ???

I would prefer going with function module instead.
