Problem in Table Maintanence Generator

Hi all,

I have created Table maintanence generator for one table.

When display the table in SM30, for some fields the header is not displayed. Those fields are Zfields, for Standard fields the headings are coming.

Can anyone let me know where it is going wrong.

Hi ,

How many fields contain in your table .In sm30 it will shows only 120 feilds only more than that it can not show .Do one thing create table maintanance view for those fields .

Hi,

That is because the descriptions of the fields have not been maintained in the table.

Either you have not filled up the field-labels in the data element of the fields or you have used fields without data element.(basic data type)

Enter the field-labels in the data element.

After entering the field-labels in the data element, re-generate the table maintenance.

Can re-generate as:

Utilities->Table Maintenance generator

press the change button

click expert mode button

select all then enter & save

you can solve this in two ways.

one by maintaining the labels for the data elements of the zfields.

second using the Screen changes , go to the screen which you mentioned in the Table maintenance using the function group. and add the column text to the fields which you want.
