PR instead of Planned Order in CNMM

Dear Gurus,

I am doing project oriented procurement CNMM.

But the result is giving me PR even for finished material. Actually it should give planned order for the same.

What could be the problems?

Useful answers will be given full marks.

Hi ,

Ur procurement type in material master may be X - Both procurement types make it E- In-house production if ur making procurement thru CNMM.

If u run MRP thru MD51 on WBS then system will generate planned order for X procurement type material.

Hi,

Please check Material Master with MM03.

Enter MM02 t-code, enter your material code and go in MRP1 & MRP2 view.

MRP1: - MRP Type as M0, MRP Group as In house production, MRP lit size.

MRP2 : - Maintain Procurement type as E - In house production.

Then check.

Hi

when you run your MRP using MD51 for WBS element there is a field on the selection screen Create P.req by default it will be to Create Preq indictaor - input the value for Create Planned Order and execute the MRP it should create the Planned order.

If u have created PR for the finished material it would display PR only not the planned order. Finished material can also be procured from outside depending on Procurement type setting in material master "MRP2" view.

If you are intend the generate only planned orders then set Procurement type as 'E"
