Archiving the Product Master

Hi All,

I would like to know the possibility of archiving the Product Master tables like /SAPAPO/MATKEY and /SAPAPO/MATLOC.

In my client, the APO system has grown tremendously and the Product Master stands top on the list.

Is there are any possibility to archive the Product Master table and bring down the table size.

Please let me know your valuable inputs.

Please use t code SARA and setup and do archiving .

Can you please provide me the archiving objects to archive the Product Masters in APO?

Below is the process to find the object for the table .

SARA -> Database Tables button -> Archiving Objects button & Enter Table(s) in Archiving Objects -> Objects for table

Initially i thought PRODUCT_MD is the object for the Product master tables and but it has not table that you are looking for.

Generally all materials are CIF'ed from R/3 and so archiving in APO is not required as we are doing the same in R/3.

If any material need to be deleted in APO , activate the deletion flag by MASSD and than run the program /SAPAPO/DELETE_PRODUCTS.
