I have small query for u all,my Maintenance order concept is not so good so I am placing this thread.
What difference between estimated cost planned cost and actual cost in cost tab in the order,for external services what is the procedure,how the material is brought from external services please give me detail answer with all technical data along with T-Codes.

Estimated Cost: Its entered manuaally before the order is released. This is an estimate of total cost going to be incurred during maintenance. Depending upon technical experienced its filled.
Planned Cost: It comes automaticall when you enter any material services in order at any stage either before release or after release. But this price comes from MM purchasing. If it is not maintyained it will not come.
Actual cost: It come when you do confirmation in IW42. Number of material you used, services and man power you used. Eg. You planned for 2 material but you used ony one so after confirmation only one material cost will come in order but in planned cost it will be cost of 2 material.
Settlement is always done on actual cost. So actual cost incurred in maintenance is actual cost.
External Material Procurement: This cost comes in planned if its cost present in system. But in actual cost column it will only come when goods reciept is done against PO.
