Goods Confirmation "Awaiting Approval" problems

SRM 5.0 and ECC backend, classic scenario.

we have the confirmations in "Awaiting Approval" status.

I had checked the following steps but still the status remains as-is.

1. Transaction SWUD

2. Enter workflow WS10400010, press enter

3. Execute 'Test environment'

4. Check 'Including subworkflows'

5. Execute 'Consistency check for components'

There are no errors for BUS2203 (Confirmation business object).

I have cross checked the BUS2203 for WS10400010 Active Status is both T-Codes SWETYPV and SWE2.

We had a previous issue of BUS2203 not being active and that went away after following steps in OSS Note. Note 962488 - "Workflow definition '&' not in version '&' (WD 401) and SDN.

WS10400010 is No Approval Workflow for confirmations that is active and classified as General Task.

Can you please advise on this status issue?

Hi,

Please check workflow log.

Transacion: BBP_PD, open the confirmation and find the workitem-ID.

Go to transaction SWI1 and paste the workitem-ID. Is there any error information in the workflow log?

I had checked yet another SDN posting which had very detailed steps on resolving this issue. We are able to see confirmations both in SRM and ECC.
