Can I use FIFO without using batches or WM?

I want to be able to use FIFO strategy without using WM or without batches. Is this possible and if so, could someone tell me the config settings?

W/o WM and w/o batch management you can only do it organising the business process itself to realize batch management "physically"...please also check:
