GR quantity exceeding the PO quantity

Can anyone tell me what is the message number for the GR qunatity not to exceed the PO quantity to be configuered.

Set the Tolerance Limits in the Purchase Order as per your Requirement.

Hi,

It is not in the Message type, its in the Tolerances you have to maintain for GR.

It is in customisation.Where you can give no tolerance then the values exceed ordered quantity , it throws error and posting not possible.Check for PO & GR Tolerances.

u can configure this in spro-mm-inventory management and physical inventory---define attributes of system messages

When the Qty in the PO is 10 then how can u do the GR for more than 10 items?

Only 10 or less items can be considered for GR right?

So please check Whats the Qty in the PO?
