Hello

Regarding VAT and CST what do you need , please clearly tell me

VAT : It may be Deductable or Non Deductable

For some of the items we can availe the credit from Government ie Deductable

Non Deductable means it is adding to the material cost

It will be there in some of the states

CST : In case of CST it is non deductable

Whatever the CST percentile as per the state govt rule the total CST is adding to the material Cost .

Please try to create the condition types accordingly , in case any doubt pls revert back

Hi

VAT- value added tax is payable at Intra state ( as LST- Local sales tax is Discontinued )

CST - Central sales tax is payable at Inter state i.e. goods moving from one state to other state

as per my knowledge there is no CAT

hi,

VAT - In India, VAT has been levied in certain states from April 1, 2005. VAT also replaces other taxes such as, turnover tax, surcharge, additional surcharge.

CST - This is a tax levied on the sale of a product. It is applied on the gross price of goods, inclusive of excise duty.

You can see the exact difference in it by using the below links:
