new pricing document in va01

Hello Experts,

In a sales order creation screen, va01, in the above menu bar there is an option of new pricing document. what does it do? its effect?

Dear Raj

Let us assume you have created a sale order on 01-10-08 for various items, which has not yet been delivered.

In the meanwhile, due to some reasons, you negotiate with the customer for price increase and successfully you achieved in that and changing in VK11 for all the products supplied to them.

Now again in that sale order instead of going line item wise "Update" option, if you select this option, new pricing will be taken over from VK11.

Hi there,

If your price is changed befpre the delivery is created, then if you select the new pricng doc, system will apply the new pricing condition types.

It is same as updating new pricing at item level
