Hi All,
I have read various posts concerned with this topic and i am a bit confused actually. Please Help.
My issue is that i have a Portal Server and a Seperate BW Server. Until now, we have not dealt with any requirement concerned with pulling of data from BW server to display within the portal. These are the steps i followed.
1. Created a system giving the following fields
system alias (SAP_BW)
Application host (IP address of the BW server)
Client (Client number of the BW server)
Server Port (Server Port of BW server)
System Number (System Number of the BW server)
WAS path (hostname : port of the portal server)
WAS Protocol (Protocol of the portal server)
2. I have created a new test iview (BEx Web Application iView (SAP BW 3.x Format) and given a query string of the required BW report.
But i am not getting the required page after i preview the iview. Is there something wrong?
Anything I should check, I have not much idea in BW
Please let me know. thanks.
