Hello guys,
I have some puzzle here - In projects we assign cost budgets to the lowest wbs level, so we could control purchasing (project costs).
Purchasing person posts purchase requisition for wbs element, and that p.requisition money amount is controlled against cost budget for that WBS.
BUT -
there is another customized p.requisition (as I remember it is another document type) , which has purpose to collect other p.requisition into one (in case of one purchase order, one contract etc in MM).
So, the problem is like this - if you have 4 purchase requisitions with 500 dollars, and you than decide to sum them up to the one p.requisition of 2000, cost budget control says that you exceeded the budget (it thinks you are trying to purchase 500x4 + 2000, but not 2000).
So any ideas to solve this ? Is it posible to assign cost budget to various MM document types ?
Best regards,
Laimonas
hi,
there is no link of budget and dicument type.
it depends on assigned wbs.
i think u have not shortclosed existing pr's.
first u shotclose all 4 existing PR's .
then try to create PR of value 2000$

In PS, Standard SAP allows to generate PR with only one Document Type.
Either u generate one PR with multiple line items or combine those 4 PRs into single PO if they are procured from same Vendor.
